Community
The PICCS project brings together 10 public charter schools, nonprofit and private organizations, educational researchers and professional developers in order to develop customized, effective educational strategies, tools and resources. The philosophy of facilitative leadership guides the collaborative, which means that all participants are equal contributors to the overall shape and success of the project. In order to allow all members of the collaborative to have opportunities to contribute, PICCS is harnessing the power of Web 2.0 tools such as webinars, wikis, shared libraries, and social networking spaces.
