Building Data Cultures

PICCS Schools have access to robust data tools to help teachers and school leaders use data to inform their decision-making, from the classroom up through the school-wide levels. PICCS is working with TERC, a Massachusetts-based education non-profit, to train our educators to use this data in meaningful ways by building their skills and knowledge in four areas:
  • Basic data literacy
  • Facilitation of data-driven dialogue among peer educators
  • Leadership capable of guiding a data-driven school cultures
  • Proficiency to use data as a vehicle to expand learning opportunities for the full range of students served in PICCS schools.
