Center for Educational Innovation – Public Education Association -
CEI-PEA is the lead organization for the PICCS project. CEI-PEA is a New York-based nonprofit organization that creates successful public schools and educational programs. The organization has been deeply involved with charter schools since the mid-1990s when its leaders advocated passage for charter legislation. Since that time, CEI-PEA has helped develop more than 30 charter schools, established the first Charter School Technical Assistance Center in the state, and launched the Charter School Coalition to bring together New York City’s charter schools to address common issues and needs. JPS Solutions -
JPS Solutions brings expertise in planning, school improvement, leadership training, professional development, and grant development to PICCS. A senior member of the JPS Solutions staff helped in the initial development of the New York State Peer Review System that will form the basis of the peer review program for PICCS. JPS Solutions also helps school districts, charter schools, nonprofit organizations and faith-based organizations to improve program outcomes, through grant development, legal/regulatory compliance and strategic positioning.
